iOS 10 doesn’t limit the number of open Safari tabs anymore. For some users this joy will result in a complete mess when using the browser, and the agony of trying to manually shut down hundreds of tabs afterwards. We’d like to show you an easier way.

How to close all Safari tabs on your iPhone in one click

Close all Safari tabs in one click

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad (with iOS 10 and up);
  2. Press and hold the switch tabs button in the right bottom corner of the screen until the pop-up window appears;
  3. Click “Close tabs” in the pop-up window.

This method, though not the most obvious, is simple and effective. There’s also an alternative option: if you’re in the tabs switching mode, press and hold the “Close” or “Close Tab” button to instantly close of all the tabs.
