Apple copied the excellent function Google Photos, ability to search in photos. As a result, it will be much easier to find someone or something using iPhone or iPad with iOS 10. We will explain below how to use such search.
Open the Photo app, click on the Search button (small blue magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the screen; it appears on the Photos, Moments and Albums tabs).
Then enter a search term – anything from names to any words like “horse”, “cat”, “river” or “cake”. The main point is that things you are looking for shall be in a photo.
Photos app will immediately give you a list of suitable photos from your photo library and report on how many images fit your search query.
You can select and move the found photo to an album, or share it. Of course, familiar options are also available, i.e., copying, duplication, hiding, setting for a contact, etc.
